It’s great to get news of Sandhoppers in the North East. Lucy McGregor, owner of Seamouse, has supplied some beautiful photos and writes
At the Farne Islands we moored up next to yachts from Germany and Holland and looked very small by comparison! It was blowing like fun and they were sheltering for a few hours before setting off again Southward.
The other picture is of me and 3 lasses racing Seamouse in one of the Beadnell club races with Dunstanburgh Castle in the background. It is very pretty up here but don’t tell anyone. Seamouse is used mainly for local cruising and we race a bit too.
